Sanden entered the electric home appliance market, and from there started producing refrigeration units for business use, paving the way for Sanden’s entrance into the Vending machine industry, and subsequently, into supplying air-conditioning compressors for the automotive industry.

Today, Sanden is a market leading tier one supplier to the automotive industry with a 22% EU market share.
